The People

The Illuminati Gaming Ltd T/AS Fresh Devs team is currently based in our office in Manchester in the United Kingdom. As determined and capable as they are individual the team consists of designers, developers and visionaries who's business is to bring people together online with the products and services of our clients. We work on enhancing the experience through the development of tools and portals with which users can interact with our clients and each other in fun, social and competitive ways. The result is increased sale converstion rates.

Core Team

Ben Newbery - Managing Director

Ben has had much success in e-commerce since his network first took off in 1998. After that he became heavily involved in the development of successful web applications and brands such as CAT and ForuMAX. In 2004 Ben took a step back from the larger projects he had been working on and since then has enjoyed working with existing and new companies around the UK and abroad. He has a great desire to heal wounds and soothe the fears of those who are scared by the internet and technology in general and show businesses how they can deploy systems which will complement and develop their existing business models.

Gaming since he was old enough to sit on his father's lap and oogle at the screen as a child, Ben is best known for ranting about the golden-oldies of gaming history. He has completed every Sierra adventure game numerous times and seemingly has a speech impediment as a result, often making strange comments like "You cannot use that here" and "Let's not, and pretend we did" (Space Quest II). Members of the Illuminati Gaming Society know him best for his late night singing about his Lovely Bunch of Coconuts.

As the founder of Illuminati Gaming Ben has clear goals in mind and is involved in everything IG is working on. He's always looking for a good match of StarCraft, but also claims to have a life outside of gaming and programming and is an enthusiastic photographer and composer.

Omair Qadir - Junior Developer

Omair first got into web development arena couple of years ago where he began testing out the various technologies first hand. After which he became involved in an e-commerce project and soon started to realise that small businesses are falling behind the competition due to the lack of experience and trust in the internet. Omair comes to Fresh Devs avoiding the dark realms of large corporations with the ability to provide new and creative ideas and to gain an invaluable experience. Outside the working life Omair is an enthusiastic sports fan and doesn?t miss a chance to play whether it is cricket, football or even golf.

Gulzaman Khan - Junior Developer

William Hollins - Director / Senior Developer

As the self-confessed daddy of all things Linux Will has a passionate dislike for Microsoft. He comes to IG with the goal of creating something exciting and new but is best known nationwide for his incredible afro, despite being white. Will loves all things related to the sea and is an active BSAC diver.

As a technology company we employ some of the best minds in their fields, it would be hard to find someone in the office who doesn't have a quite well known claim to fame - even if it's just touching up celebrities at the BBC! And while not everyone's name has made it onto these pages we would like to say a big thank you to everyone who works for us. We are very proud of the passion and and drive for innovation shared at IGL / Fresh Devs.

At any one time we also employ a number of contractors both to speed up the development process when we're unexpectedly busy and bring in fresh perspectives from around the industry. We love turning competitors into partners, and are equally interested in hearing from other development / new media companies who's skills could benefit and complement our own.
